Visiting the Library
During Lunch: The Library is open during lunch shifts as posted. There is no eating in the library. Students must sign in and stay the entire lunch period.
During Class: Individual students may come to the library anytime with a signed Success Guide. All students must sign in, and should arrive within 5 minutes of time written in the guide by the sending teacher. Appropriate behavior is expected at all times. Failure to comply will result in dismissal.

Copier printouts:	$0.10 per page
Regular computer printouts:	$0.10 per page
Color computer printouts:	$0.25 per page

Circulation Policy
• Books & back issues of magazines circulate for 3 weeks. Renewals available with permission.
• Reference & Reserve books check out overnight with special permission only.
• Overdue fines $0.10 per school day, as per BCPS policy.
• Any materials not returned after 1 month will be considered lost and students will be billed for replacement cost.
• Failure to pay or return library materials will result in the holding of quarterly report card.
• Special borrowing priviledges for Western students at CCBC and UMBC libraries. See Mrs. Tanner for information.

Computer Catalog
• Easy access to the library collection from any computer via Destiny.
• Computerized check out.
• Over 14,000 books and periodicals available.

Computer Use
Dell computers are available for student use during regular library hours.
• Student login and password required.
• BCPS Telecommunications Policy states that computers and the internet will be used for "educational purposes only". Failure to comply to these directives is a Category III offense and will result in loss of your computer priviledges.
• Student access to e-mail is prohibited.
• Students may visit only appropriate sites.
• Students may save to clean data disks or flash drivesin the Library or Computer Lab 107.
• Adding to, or modification of BCPS installed software is strictly prohibited.
• Regular Printouts are $0.10 per page. Color printouts are $0.25 per page.
