Here at Western, students are prepared to exceed the Graduation Requirements so that they have a better chance to enter the Career World or College after high school. Western graduates are expected to demonstrate Academic Excellence by:
- Maintaining 96% attendance and punctuality
- Maintaining a minimum of a 3.0 grade point average
- Completing 75 hours for Service Learning
- Passing the Functional Tests and High School Assessments
- Following a four year program which allows students the opportunity for multiple exit options upon graduation, i.e. Apprenticeship, Technical School, Community College, Four Year College
- Completing BOTH - University of Maryland and Career and Technology Completer status
- Exceeding the minimum Maryland Graduation Requirements
