French Club, supported by the French Honor Society sponsored a Mardi Gras celebration! Mardi Gras is the Tuesday before the start of Lent. Celebrated in Catholic French-speaking countries and in Louisiana, Mardi Gras (or Carnaval) is a chance for people to eat and party before a month of fasting and contemplation. Sophomore Noah Gray led participants in mask making while Senior Kriti Thapa painted faces. Freshman Devine Mbah provided Swedish Fish for our Fish in a Cup competition. Junior Ife Ifedayo won the Joker's cap for finding the baby in the King Cake. "Laissez les bons temps rouler!"
